Sinn Féin Councillor Eric McGinley has called on Council to consider the placement of additional bus shelter provision in Ballymagroarty.
Cllr. McGinley said: “In response to requests from residents in the area I have asked Council to consider the installation of additional bus shelters in Ballymagroarty.
“There is a particular concern that children waiting on the school bus are exposed to the elements along the route and a shelter would offer a great degree of protection.
“I have met with Council officers in the area to look at possible locations for shelters and I hope we can reach a satisfactory conclusion.”
