Anderson welcomes £246,000 resurfacing scheme for Ardmore Road

Sinn Féin Foyle MLA Martina Anderson has welcomed the news that a £246,000 resurfacing scheme for Ardmore Road, Derry will commence next week. 

The Foyle MLA who sits on the Assembly Infrastructure said ““I welcome the news that this much needed resurfacing scheme is to start on Monday 24th August. It is anticipated the work will take up to five weeks to complete. 

“The section where this work is to take place is in between the Ballybogie Road and Berryburn Bridge for a distance of just under a mile and will include the resurfacing of the carriageway and upgrading of road drainage. 

“It’s very important that we continue to invest in our rural roads to provide good quality road surfaces to travel on and improve road safety.
