Sinn Féin Councillor Patricia Logue has said work at the Brandywell Stadium to remove the Glentoran Stand and associated works will take four weeks .
The works currently being undertaken are urgent health and safety works with the removal of the Glentoran Stand and an internal boundary wall. I have contacted council and asked for a timescale on how long this work will take.
They have told me that it will take approximately four weeks and it’s hoped there will be limited disruption to both residents and user groups.
Residents have been informed of the works and the timescale for completion as were the main user groups of the stadium.
I would urge any resident who has concerns to contact me on 71377551.
