Toghadh Christopher mar chomhairleoir Dhoire Trasna i gComhairle Chathair Dhoire agus Cheantar an tSrátha Báin.

Tá baint nach beag ag Christoher le grúpaí pobail i gceantar Bharr an Chnoic agus tá sé gníomhach san fheachtas le haghaidh áis-ionaid pobail ann. Faoi láthair, tá sé ina leas-chathaoirleach den chumann áitiúil.

Christopher had the honour of being elected to represent the Waterside area in the new Derry and Strabane council in May 2014.

He lives locally with his partner and three children and feels passionately about the community he comes from.

Christopher is heavily involved with a number of community groups in the Greater Top of the Hill area and is actively involved in the campaign for a new purpose built community centre which will service the needs of all community, sporting and social organisations across the district. Something the area badly needs after years of underinvestment.

He is committed to representing constituents from all backgrounds within the Waterside, campaigning for much needed social housing and play facilities in all areas within the constituency. The lack of social housing throughout the Waterside is a major concern to him
and he is keen to see that every family has the basic right to a home.

Currently he is the vice chairperson of the Sean Dolan Sinn Féin Cumann, Waterside.
