Sinn Féin councillor Sandra Duffy has condemned a petrol bomb attack on a car in the Glengalliagh Road area of Derry.
Speaking after the attack on the car on Friday night, councillor Duffy said;
“This attack on a car being driven along the Glengalliagh Road must be condemned.
“This must have been a very frightening and traumatic experience for the woman driving the car. It is only through good fortune that she was not injured and that her car was not damaged.
“Whoever was behind this attack should consider what the consequences could have been.
“These types of attacks need to stop before someone is injured or worse.
“I would urge anyone with information on this incident to bring it forward to the PSNI.”
