Expect disruption as £200,000 work takes place at Caw Roundabout –Jackson

Sinn Féin Waterside Councillor Christopher Jackson has urged motorists in the city to take care as major repair work takes place at the busy Caw Roundabout next weekend.

Councillor Jackson said “This is possibly one of the busiest roundabouts in the city. Its sees thousands of vehicles travel through it each day.

“A £200,000 resurfacing and reconstruction scheme is programmed to start on the 2nd September and to be completed by the 5th September. With work taking place between 7.00pm and 7.00am.

“There will be obvious disruption whilst this work is taking place and I would ask motorists to be patient. It’s important to have this work done before the winter sets in and traffic increases with the summer holidays over and local schools and businesses returning to normal.
