“I have been contacted by residents in the area following concerns people had been seen acting suspiciously around homes and cars there. A number of local people have told me they are very concerned about this development and ask me to highlight it in the local press in the hope it will prevent someone falling victim to these criminals.
We all know one of the worse things that can happen to anyone is to have their home broken into and personal items stolen. It can also have an impact on people wishing to live in the house after the event. Many feel vulnerable, unsafe and can have a detrimental effect on their health and if this warning prevents even one incident happening then it will be worth it.
I have also raised resident concerns with the PSNI.
