Sinn Féin Councillor Paul Fleming said 
“I would like to congratulate everyone involved in the setting up and running of the new Strathfoyle Boxing Club.
It’s great to see such a club being set up in the area which gives a positive outlet for young people from the area and indeed across the town.
I hope that they can build on what has been started here and attract more people to become involved in sport.
