Sinn Féin Councillor Paul Fleming has welcomed the news that preliminary works have commenced on a £130,000 street lighting upgrade scheme at St Canice’s Park, Eglinton.
Paul Fleming said “This is welcome news for the residents of St Canice’s Park and the Eglinton area in general.
“The scheme will involve replacing the existing lights with a new LED street lighting system. It will also involve the full replacement of all underground cables and columns, and will continue from Monday 27th January 2021.
“There will be a bit of disruption whilst this work takes place between now and the end of March and if any resident has any concerns, they should feel free to contact me.
