Sinn Féin Councillor Michael Cooper has welcomed the news that the Department for Infrastructure is to hold a further public information session on A2 plans taking into consideration the residents of Farren Park and Ardnashee.
Councillor Cooper said “I have asked Department for Infrastructure to host a further public info session on A2 plans.
“I am hoping the revised plans will take account of the concerns of residents in Farren Park and Ardnashee raised at previous meetings.
“They were concerned that the original plans put on display at a public event last year showed a through road in their area linking the A2 to Culmore Road.
“The department have told me that hope to hold the meeting next few months to inform the public of progress.
“As soon as I get the arrangements I will let local residents know.
