Thousands of Republicans mobilised in Derry over the weekend to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the Easter Rising.Commemorations were held in the bogside,creggan,waterside and shantallow areas of Derry city by local commemorative committees,as well as the main event for the City which saw a large turnout of republicans and family members of our patriot dead.
