Sinn Féin MLA Karen Mullan has offered her best wishes to students across the north receiving GCSE examination results today.
The party’s Education Spokesperson said:
“Students are preparing to receive the results of their GCSE examinations and I wish them all the best.
“For many young people it can be a stressful time with a lot of pressure and my advice is to follow your heart, follow your passion.
“Our young people continue to prosper through the work of our teachers, carers and parents, and through their own dedication, strength and commitment to their studies.
“If you don’t achieve the grades you wanted, don’t be disheartened, there are plenty of other options out there and I would urge you to explore these by talking to your teachers and careers advisers.
“I wish you all every success for the future, whether you decide to go on to study A-Levels, take up a new course, or go into training or employment.”
