Speaking after her party held a meeting with Glyn Roberts of Retail NI Sinn Féin Foyle MLA Martina Anderson said
“We had a very positive meeting with Glyn Roberts during which we discussed the need to instil confidence back into our city centre and indeed across the city as we ease out of Covid.
“It’s vital that we all play our part in helping local businesses get back on track as much as we can whether they are located on the Strand Road, Spencer Road or Racecourse Road. As a city we must all work together.
“Some businesses will bounce back after this crisis is over, but for others it will be a long and hard road to recover from this unprecedented economic shock.
Concluding she said “With more people being out and about and using our retail and hospitality sectors it’s important that we all stay safe, be that through washing our hands ,using sanitiser and face coverings where required.
