He  said:

“We are embarking on a time of major change in Health and Social Care (HSC) in the north and the public meetings are a sign of Health Minister Michelle O’Neill’s commitment to engaging with the public.

“This will give as many people as possible the opportunity to have their say on the future of our health and social care service.

“Everyone has a part to play in the transformation of the health and social care system and I would encourage people to come along to the meetings and make their views known.”

The local public meetings will be held at:

Derry, Millennium Forum 14 December 2016, 7.00pm – 9.00pm

Omagh, Omagh Enterprise Company 08 December 2016, 7.00pm – 9.00pm
