Sinn Féin MP Elisha McCallion has welcomed the creation of 70 new cybersecurity jobs Derry.
The Foyle MP said:
“I welcome this jobs announcement for the city with the creation of 70 new jobs by Metacompliance based at Patrick Street.
“This is a boost for the local economy and demonstrates what this region can offer when people work in partnership to make the vision of a new Derry and north west a reality.
“At a time when the uncertainties of a Tory/DUP crash Brexit looms over business and threatens the economy here job creation of this level is welcome news.
“These jobs will provide much-needed employment for the local area and particularly for our young people and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition.” CRÍOCH/ENDS
