Sinn Féin Councillor Eric McGinley has called on the Housing Executive to initiate a window replacement scheme in Ballymagroarty.
Cllr. McGinley said: “Over a period of time residential properties will begin to display clear signs of wear and tear and this would be the case in relation to the condition of some windows in the Ballymagroarty estate.
Residents are entitled to expect their properties to be kept to a reasonable standard and this would also obviously apply to the condition of windows.
I have asked Housing Executive to provide an assessment of window maintenance in Ballymagroarty with a view to initiating a replacement scheme at the earliest opportunity.”
