Sinn Féin Foyle MLA Raymond McCartney has said Sinn Féin will hold a series of leadership public meetings in the coming weeks to discuss the current state of the political process.
Speaking ahead of the first major meeting in Derry, Raymond McCartney said:
“Over the next number of weeks the Sinn Féin leadership team will embark on a series of engagements with activists, supporters and members of the public.
“We will be updating people on the serious challenges facing the political process, the current talks process and our ongoing campaign against the austerity policies of the British government.
“This leadership tour will take us to cities, towns and villages across the North, allowing us to engage with thousands of people.
“The first event will be in Derry on Wednesday night (September 30th) in the City Hotel at 7.30pm and will be addressed by Martin McGuinness.
“We look forward to the opportunity of engaging with the leadership team and the wider republican family in the coming weeks.”
