Collective approach for the upkeep / appearance of streets in Ballymagroarty-McGinley

Sinn Féin Councillor Eric McGinley has called a collective approach from all agencies for the upkeep and appearance of streets in Ballymagroarty area following complaints about overgrown weeds, vegetation and blocked drains.Eric new head shot 20144

Councillor McGinley said   “A number of residents have contacted me about the appearance of the streets throughout the area. Some of the streets and laneways are in a bad state .There is a lot of overgrown weeds, vegetation and a number of drains are blocked. It’s clear there needs to be a systematic programme by the statutory agencies to do a massive clean up before the winter months.
