"I send congratulations to Gerald McErlean and his U18 Derry Camogie Team on winning the all-Ireland title on their first ever final at Celtic Park on Saturday. This is a terrific boost for Gaelic games in the County and especially for the womens disciplines.
"I have no doubt that we haven't heard the last of this team and I wouldn't be surprised to see them take their success into the senior level. I wish them all the best for the future and once again congratulations to Gerald and his backroom team but especially to the players on their tremendous victory.
