Groups and organisations in the greater Bogside and Creggan areas have come together to raise community awareness of services available and encourage and support people to look after their mental health and wellbeing.
Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum, Divert, Bogside & Brandywell Women's Group, the Old Library Trust, Healthy Living Centre and the Samaritans, as well as other local organisations and support groups, have been meeting since July in an endeavour to get local residents thinking and talking constructively about it's the impact of suicide on the family and the community.
