Sinn Féin Councillor Colly Kelly said
“I have been contacted by residents concerned about the state of the pathway going down Southway leading to the Lone Moor Road with overgrown weeds and nettles.
This is causing people and more particularly pram users having to manoeuvre out onto the main road to get past. Anyone who uses this area on a daily basis will tell you it’s always very busy with traffic.
I have been in contact with Road Service and asked them look at this as a matter of urgency.
