Councillor Elisha McLaughlin -Shantallow Ward

Elected in 2005 Elisha was the first Sinn Féin Chair of the District Policing Partnership in 2009. She was instrumental in the delivery of the new neighbourhood Park in Galliagh and also had a leading role in the re-imaging projects for of the Galliagh area. Since elected Elisha has worked giving local people advice on welfare related problems and housing issues Elisha currently works in a local youth project- Off the Streets initiative
