Elected in 2005. Kevin, a former political ex-prisoner is a keen Irish language activist and holds a degree in the Irish Language and literature and is a member of the board of governors for Gaelscoil Éadain Mhóir. He also works for the people of the Creggan area as a member of the Triax Neighbourhood Management Team who have been involved in the regeneration of the area including the new District Play Park
