Sinn Féin Councillor Bridget Meehan welcomes the news that the Post Office on the Trench Road is to be refurbished.
“The work is part of a 3-year investment and support programme for the entire Post Office Network. Customers should be aware that work will take place during May and the post office will have to close on Thursday 8 May at 5.30pm until Thursday 15 May when the refurbishments will be completed. The work will bring short-term inconvenience but once completed, the branch will be upgraded to a more modern environment and the opening hours will also be longer. The Post Office provides a range of useful and convenient services to the local community and I wish the staff well with their new upgraded branch.
