Sinn Féin Councillor Sandra Duffy commenting on the news that the Ballyarnett Play Park has had to temporary close due to a vandalism attack on the facilities there said :
“It deeply disappointing to hear today that the play park has been vandalised and had to close for emergency repairs.
“It took many years to get this play park opened and it provides a great facility for local families. The last thing we want to see is it being the target of anti-community elements.
“I would urge anyone who sees people vandalising the park to contact the police ,elected representatives and local community organisations.
