Warning following spate of vandalism attacks on vehicles in Bogside -Kelly‏

Sinn Féin Councillor Colly Kelly has urged vehicle owners in the Bogside to be on the alert after of a number of vandalism attacks on vehicles in the last fortnight.COLLY

Councillor Colly Kelly said

“I was contacted by the owner of a vehicle parked on Stanley’s Walk after three tyres on it were slashed around 5am on Friday morning. I am also aware of a number of vandalism attacks on cars in the Cable Street area on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and similar incidents on the Lone Moor Road the previous week during which wing mirrors were kicked off and paint work damaged .Again these incidents took place in the middle of the night.

It’s intolerable that these attacks are taking place and people are being left out of pocket getting the damaged repaired. I would urge anyone with any information on who is responsible for these attacks to contact community representatives and the police.
