His made his comment after there was some confusion over different schemes for Rinmore Drive.
Councillor Campbell said
After receiving a series of complaints from a large number of residents regarding the state of the windows in their homes I lobbied senior management in the Housing Executive to have them replaced.
In January I was told that Rinmore Drive would be given priority status for a window replacement scheme in their budget of 2015 – 2016 and that they would replace the wooden windows with white PVC windows.
There now seems to have been some confusion over a separate external maintenance scheme which is also taking place. I would like to reassure residents after speaking to the Housing Executive today that the windows replacement scheme will be going ahead as planned in the spring of 2016.
